Humbuckers vs. Single Coils

long has the debate raged whether to use Humbuckers or Single Coils in a guitar, why, I don't know. I prefer Singles to a degree on the grounds that I mainly play a telecaster, and am a traditionalist. but Damn, I love a nice set of Humbuckers.
